Delia is a top candidate for dressage and is the type of mare upon which successful breeding programs are built. She has excellent conformation and movement, and she offers the valuable blood of Donnerhall, Lauries Crusador xx and Weltmeyer.

George Walker and Ludwig Christmann proclaimed her the top filly at her Hanoverian inspection as a foal, praising everything about her. Delia has a gorgeous face and a large kind eye, and she has been a breed show Filly Champion in hand. We expect her to be a top scorer at her AHS inspection this summer.

This gorgeous filly is the first female offered for sale from our best-producing mare, EM Wieta. Wieta was the fourth-highest scoring mare (7.84) on the 2001 AHS inspection tour and was champion of her MPT, earning an 8 for rideability. Seven out of her 8 foals have been named champion or reserve champion foals at their AHS inspections; one colt is a licensed stallion who will show at Third and Fourth levels with Jim Koford in 2009, two others are stallion prospects and a daughter by Rotspon scored 7.66 on inspection.

Delia’s sire, Dauphin, is a handsome black Donnerhall son who is on lease to the Hanoverian State Stud at Celle. He is developing quite a reputation for siring typey dressage horses. He placed fourth out of 50 stallions at his 11-month Stallion Performance Test, scoring 8s on character, temperament, willingness to work, capacity to work, canter, walk, and rideability.
