He is by the Elite Stallion, Nocturno. The 17 H coal-black Nocturno is by Natiello xx out of SPS Weira (Wenzel II / Gardekurassier). At his 100 day testing, Nocturno received scores of 9 from the training leader for character, constitution, temperament, and willingness to work . He received 8 in all three gaits and in rideability from his training leader, as well as an 8 in the canter from the guest rider. Nocturno was imported in December 2003 and has a very successful career through Fourth Level dressage with many Horse of the Year awards along the way.

Nigel’s dam is Elite Mare Desert Princess, a 16.3H chestnut mare by Donnerhall out of SPS Begum by Bolero.
