Super Dressage Prospect!
If you like flashy chestnut mares, this is your girl. Werlwhind is a Main Studbook approved 4-year old Hanoverian mare by Werbellin, a son of the legendary Weltmeyer. Werbellin has won numerous dressage titles through the FEI levels showing with Christopher Hickey, Head Trainer at Hilltop Farm. Werlwhind is out of EM Faneuil by Wertherson. Faneuil earned her Elite status based on dressage performance rather than the mare performance test.
Werlwhind is from exceptional mare lines with a total of 7 American Elite or German States Premium mares in the 4 generation pedigree. She produced a very tall, elegant filly by Sinatra Song in the spring of 2008. The filly was 2nd in a good class of 2008 fillies at the Fair Hill breed show with a score of 8 on the all-important walk.
Werlwhind was started under saddle in August 2008 and is progressing rapidly in her training. She gains confidence rapidly as new elements are added in her training and will be suitable for an adult amateur or junior rider.
