Well balance and athletic FEI Dressage and Sport Horse prospect.
Fabulieren is a well balanced and athletic FEI dressage and sport horse prospect. She was started under saddle in early December 2009, is very settled and is showing a wonderful work ethic. Within one week she was accepting supple contact to the bridle and understanding half halts. She has a natural, steady rhythm, is willing and relaxed, and, therefore, will advance quickly in her training. Fabulieren has a wonderfully balanced canter and motivates from the hind quarters -- her neck reach and set is super easy…
Fabulieren is an impressive black 2005 mare with all the presence of ES Fabriano, her grandsire who was known as a "Top List" sire for both dressage horses and jumpers. Her sire ES Fabuleux, shows the movement and athleticism of his sire. At his stallion testing in Germany, Fabuleux received 9's for temperament, rideability, willingness to work, walk, and trot...and 10 for his canter!
EM Davinia, Fabulieren's dam, was Grand Champion Mare at the MAHB mare show in 2004, her first show (only) in the US. Her sire Davignon (Donnerhall line), is known to pass to his offspring exceptional elastic movement and powerful hind quarters. His offspring include several licensed stallions such as Davignport, who stands in Maryland, as well as many elite mares. EM Davinia's dam sire, Wanderer, has been very influential in Germany in producing jumpers. In addition, he was known to increase athleticism in dressage horse breeding.
Fabulieren has the awesome movement and jumping ability handed down from both sides of her pedigree. Her conformation and gaits are very correct with an excellent shoulder and powerful hind end. She has an exceptionally well balanced canter and naturally does tempi changes in the field. In fact her lead changes are so balanced and smooth you don't even realize she is doing them unless you are watching her legs! Her walk is also superior, swinging from her back with a good over step.
With her excellent bloodlines and movement and temperament; we chose to breed Fabulieren to Rousseau before starting her riding career. She produced an awesome colt, Rousseleux, who was the champion colt at the AHS inspection at Hill Top Farm this past summer. Rousseleux is a serious stallion prospect!
Fabulieren is a versatile and athletic young horse. She is very AA/Jr. friendly and has the athletic ability to delight the ambitious rider whether in the jumping or dressage venues. Well mannered and friendly she is easy to work around and will be a joy to own.
